Vendors selling merchandise at Northpoint Flea Market may be required by Maryland law to obtain a Trader’s License. This information applies to indoor tables, outdoor spaces, and permanent booths.

Occasional Exhibitors

A limited exemption may be available to a qualifying occasional exhibitor who receives less than 10 percent of annual income from selling the type of goods offered at the show, has not participated in more than three shows during the previous 365 days, and provides the required Exhibitor’s Affidavit. Vendors should confirm their eligibility through the official Maryland licensing system.

Regular Vendors

Northpoint strongly recommends obtaining a Trader’s License if you plan to set up more than three times within a 365-day period. This recommendation applies to indoor tables, outdoor spaces, and permanent booths. Vendors should confirm the applicable requirements and any exemption directly with an authorized Maryland agency.

Apply Online

Use Maryland Business Licenses Online and select Baltimore County when prompted.

Sales & Use Tax Registration

Applicants may need a Maryland sales and use tax account before completing a Trader’s License application. Registration is available through Maryland Tax Connect.

Important Notice

Northpoint Flea Market provides this information as general guidance and does not determine whether a particular person or business qualifies for an exemption. Vendors are responsible for confirming and meeting their own licensing, tax, and regulatory obligations.
